Code of Conduct
At the Fredericksburg Food and Wine Festival, we are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where all individuals are treated with dignity and respect. Harassment or inappropriate behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.
This Code of Conduct applies to all participants—including staff, attendees, speakers, sponsors, vendors, exhibitors, and volunteers. By participating in the festival, you agree to abide by this policy. Our team will actively enforce this code throughout the event to help ensure a positive experience for everyone.
Expected Behavior
We expect all participants to:
Act respectfully toward others.
Maintain a professional and inclusive atmosphere.
Follow all directions from event staff.
Unacceptable Behavior
Harassment of any kind is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to:
Intimidation, stalking, or following.
Unwanted photography or recording.
Disruptive behavior during events.
Inappropriate physical contact.
Unwelcome sexual attention.
Offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity or expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, religion, or personal technology choices. Anyone asked to stop harassing behavior is expected to comply immediately.
Reporting and Enforcement
If you experience or witness inappropriate behavior, please notify a staff member as soon as possible, either in person or by email at hello@fbgfoodandwine.com.
Festival organizers reserve the right to take appropriate action in response to violations of this code. This may include removal from the event without refund and/or disqualification from participating in future festivals.
